Food & Fun

Learn to cook, party, taste wine or do some island hopping…

DSC_7962_850

There are no limits to what exotic memories you can bring home from Tuscany.

Here are just some possibilities you can choose from. Pick from the menu, or just tell us about the travel of your dreams.

You are welcome also if you don’t live with us.

LEARN ABOUT wine, cheese, olives, cooking…

  • Wine tasting in Bolgheri: Learn the art of tasting and get the story behind a noble Sassicaia, Ornellaia or Antinori. Or enjoy something slightly less costly…
  • Olive oil tasting: Maybe an even more delicate art than wine tasting.
  • Cooking courses: Piero teach you his tips and tricks with tastes from a simple but exquisite kitchen.
  • Make cheese: Prepare ricotta in the morning and taste your own fresh cheese for pranzo (lunch). Or learn to make the famous sheep cheese pecorino.

If you’re in the area, join us for a rare gastronomic experience.

Exciting activities from adults and kids:

  • Horse-back riding: Enjoy nature with four-legged friends.
  • Bicycle rides: Close to Tuscan nature.
  • Fishing: From boat or along the sea-shore.

FESTIVALS

  • June 15-17 (ca): Hunting and fishing festival in Marina di Bibbona
  • June: Fishing festival in Castiglioncello
  • August 1-5 (ca): Food and wine festival in Bibbona

ART and culture

  • Art and culture excursions in the Etruscan countryside.
  • Food: Taste peperoncino – the chilli fruits are more various than you’d believe.
  • NEW: Experience the paintings of Bibbonas Daniela Caciagli – and meet the artist.

TIP Try to come outside the high season of July and August. Other seasons give other opportunities for both activities (like to pick grapes?) and tastes.

PLEASE OBSERVE that the activities mentioned here are just some of all the possibilities we can offer.
